The Glebe overlooks the site of the old outdoor swimming pool which is now a sheltered rocky beach making it the perfect place to go crabbing just make sure you wear sturdy shoes!

25 pounder QF Mark II field gun. This weapon was one of the most successful in World War 2. After the war, a 25-pound artillery piece was used for royal salutes and the One o’ Clock Gun fired from Edinburgh Castle. It was last fired on St Andrew’s Day 30 November 2001.

 

Royal artillery volunteers with restoration by J&A coachworks Dunbar, the gun was placed on the Glebe in 2005 by Dunbar Community Council in partnership with ELC.
